applications from citizens of India for filling up the following posts of Stenographer Grade-II,
Cook & Law Clerk, and Law Clerk-cum-Legal Research Assistant Vacancy. Interested and eligible candidates

Meghalaya High Court Recruitment 2021 Details
1. Name of Post: Stenographer Grade-II
No of posts: 1 (One)
Educational Qualification:- Bachelor degree
from a recognized University with a diploma in Stenography in English with a
minimum speed of 100 wpm in shorthand and 40 wpm in computer typing.
Salary: Level — 11, (Rs. 37,800/-).
Age limit: Not be more than 27 (twenty-seven)
years of age in case of General Category candidates and 32 (thirty-two) years
of age in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates at the time of
his/her application.
2. Name of Post: Cook
No of posts: 1 (One)
Educational Qualification:-
- SSLC passed from a recognized Board with Diploma in cooking
- 2 (Two) years experience from an establishment recognized by the Government.
Salary: Level — 1 (Rs. 17,400/-)
Age limit: Not be more than 27
(twenty-seven) years of age in case of General Category candidates and 32
(thirty-two) years of age in
case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates at the time of his/her
application.

Educational Qualification:-
- (i) A candidate seeking engagement as a Law Clerk must be a fresh law graduate having a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (including an Integrated Degree Course in Law) from any University/ College/ Institution established by law in India and recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- (ii) A candidate studying in the fifth year of the Five-Year Integrated Law Course will also be eligible to apply subject to furnishing proof of acquiring Law qualification at the time of interview.
- (iii) A candidate must have basic knowledge of computers including retrieval of desired information from various search engines/ processes such as Manupatra, SCC Online, LexisNexis, Westlaw, etc.
Upper age limit: 33 years as of
01.01.2021.
Salary: As per High Court Meghalaya Norms.
- Application Fees for the said post for general applicants is Rs. 400/-(Rupees Four hundred) only and Rs. 200/-(Rupees Two hundred) only for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe.
