Educational Qualification: No
higher educational qualifications are required to apply for this job. Job
seekers who have passed Higher Secondary, i.e., 12th grade,
can apply for this position.
Salary: Candidates
working in this position receive a monthly salary of up to approximately
₹35,500.
Age Limit: As
of 01/07/2024, the age of general applicants must be between 18 and 33
years. Reserved category candidates will receive a specific age relaxation
as per government rules.
Age Relaxation: Currently,
job seekers are being given a 3-year age relaxation to apply for the TTE
position in Indian Railways. Previously, general applicants could apply for
this position up to the age of 30, but for the 2024 examination, candidates up
to the age of 33 can apply.
Selection
Process
Job seekers are recruited
through two Computer Based Tests (CBT). For the CBT 1 exam, candidates are
given 2 hours. In this case, the exam is conducted for a total of 200 marks.
However, it is believed that there may be some changes in the exam procedure
this year.
