Name of department: Fishery Department, Govt. of Assam
Scale of pay: Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- PM (PB-2) with Grade Pay of Rs.8,700/- PM
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years of age as on 01-01-2025.
Educational Qualification:
- (i) Candidate must have 3 (Three) years Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Construction Technology/ Civil Engineering & Planning from any technical institute recognized by AICTE.
- (ii) The Diploma course must be a Regular course. Diploma course obtained through Distance mode of education, by whatever name called, will not be accepted.
Other Criteria of Fishery Department Assam Recruitment
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2025.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable :
- (i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
- (ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years
- (iii) For Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidate.
Small Family Norms: The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of applying for the post.
Domicile:
- (i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- (ii) The Candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose as a proof of residency along with the application form
Or
- (iii) The candidate must produce Employment Exchange Registration certificate in the state of Assam along with the application form .
